Just 8 km away from our hotel is\u00a0Montepulciano<\/b>, famous for its\u00a0Noble Wine<\/b>\u00a0but also a lovely town to visit, due to its suggestive position and ancient history (the town was founded by the Etruscans). A typical activity when travelling here is to visit the many underground wine cellars of the town, where you can taste\u00a0local products<\/b>\u00a0accompanied by the famous\u00a0wines<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Pienza, 20 km<\/h4>\n

The most important town of the\u00a0Val d\u2019Orcia<\/b>, a UNESCO\u00a0World Heritage<\/b>\u00a0site since 1996, Pienza is the birthplace of Enea Silvio Piccolomini, who went on to become Pope Pius II. Most of the historical-artistic treasures of the town can be found in the square dedicated to his memory.<\/p>\n
